Children’s Art Lessons
Suitable for children 7 years old to 12 years old, this course teaches children things that are often not taught with art to children of this age group, such as colour theory, figure proportion, perspective, tone and mixed media. Essential fundamentals of art presented in a fun environment, your child will benefit greatly from these lessons and their creative juices will flow further! New to 2009 - Drawing classes - enquire today. All lessons $15.00 each week includes all art materials supplied on a shared basis (children will also receive free an A3 sketch book and set of pencils).
Next course starts Saturday 20th February 2010 between 9am to 10am.

Photography Classes - New to Bella Art Gallery.
We have joined with Richard McLaren, a highly experienced photographer trainer, to offer a 6 week Digital Photography class.
Each class is $15 per session and the course runs for 6 weeks (Total cost $90). These classes will teach you how to get to know your digital camera and take fantastic photographs. The course dates and times are yet to be finalised, and will be based on times that will suit the majority of people interested.

Our 2010 Art Classes have commenced, however we are now taking enrollments for our next Thursday evening 8 week course (starting 25th March - pending numbers) We are still looking for students for our Saturday morning class which run from 10.30am to 1.30pm every week for 8 weeks. The next class will start on Saturday the 20th of February.
Children’s lessons are currently held on a Saturday morning between 9am to 10am. The next 6 week course in drawing starts on Saturday 20th February only 2 spots now available - book now. We are currently looking for an experienced children’s art teacher who is available to work during the week in the afternoons. Once we have found a new children’s art teacher we will be able to offer classes during the week. Please register with Lea from the gallery if you are interested in you child attending art classes. The cost is a flat $15.00 per week (includes a free A3 sketch book and pencils and all other materials are supplied to the children on a share basis).
Adults Acrylics For Beginners
Learn to paint with our acrylics for beginners course. Spread over 8 weeks, with a 3 hour session per week, this course is suitable for absolute beginners and you will learn the four basic fundamentals to producing a painting: Colour (inc. colour theory), composition, tone and perspective. A great start to a life long passion with the brush! Our teacher is Lorelle Boyce who has 15 years teaching experience throughout Brisbane and South East Queensland. She is an accomplished commercial artist and guides students step by step. Email Lea for a brochure on the art course including prices.

Bella Art Gallery offers a canvas printing service. Any photo can be printed to canvas and stretched, ready to hang. Digital photos or traditional photos can be scanned and printed. Get photos of your loved ones printed as an artwork and hang in your home. Great also as a gift idea.
We can also do collages of several photos, or apply effects to your photos such as a painted effect. (Additional charge applies.)
